You are a gangster in GTA1. You can steal cars and drive trough the streets of the city like a madmen. You can drive over people, shoot them and destroy other cars as you wish.
 
However if you do this the cops wil try to arrest you. So you better drive fast! The game has no predefined storyline. You can do whatever you want.
 
The game starts in one of the three cities available. You can get all sorts of jobs like stealing stuff or killing people as a hitman. You can steal all cars you want and also trucks, busses and trains. And you can even steal a tank sometimes if you get lucky!
