I would love into the parameters of the componant "check username" a new option that allows to attribute the name (not firstname + name) to the username of Joomla! directly so there would be just the name field appearing !
Much more simple to register in one click this way !
Or maybe into "name mode" to Name is buggy ? or incomplete ?
I'm trying a dirty hack first...
