I have installed the 'Add user Frontend'. It works fine! Only one problem. I tried to set the usertype: Custom Group, and custom group: public (or Custom, or Test). I have created a usergroup Custom, Test (Usermanagement J1.6), but still the next message:

"THE GROUPID YOU PROVIDED IS INCORRECT! FIX THIS IN YOUR SETTINGS".

Well the only possibility is that you provided the wrong Groupid. If this is not the case, it should be some php bug in the components parameters.

Verify this first:
Open the file /components/com_adduserfrontend/views/adduserfrontend/tmpl/default.php in your code editor.

Do a search for: THE GROUPID YOU PROVIDED IS INCORRECT! FIX THIS IN YOUR SETTINGS.

a little higher you will see: $custumgroup = $params->get( 'custumgroup' );

add this line under that code: echo "<font color='red'>GID = $custumgroup</font>";

Now add a user on the frontend and look for the message to appear.

If the result is the number you have in the configuration of add user frontend the component is getting the parameters as it should. And you have probably just misconfigured the component.

If the message says GID = And no group id is visible it probably is some weird php bug and you should contact me again.
