Hello

First of all, great component!!!

Second, is it possible to modify or change it so you can change user access level from the frontend and not only create users?

Kind regards

Hey,
You cant choose your usergroup at the frontend. This is because of security. But if you want to do this. You should make a menu called "Ad users" for example. In that menu you will add multiple links to the AUF component. One link for each usergroup. You can run every link under the settings you want.

Go to the menulink to OCR in the Menu manager of the joomla backend. When you are editing the menulink there you can see the component parameter box to the right.

Click on the component parametersbox and you will see the settings. These settings are the same as in the general components parameters but you can assign different parameters per menulink. This will make it possible to run multiple instances of a component but with different settings.
I hope this helps
Kim

Hello and thank you for the quick reply.

I read that part in an earlier post, but i want users to register for them self and not to be register if that made any sense.

I find a nifty little extension which should be able to it through community builder but apparently it doesnt work for 1.7, only for 1.5 which is quite a shame.

Anyway, thank you for your reply and happy new year.

Kind regards
